Blogging has been around for years now, but it is no longer considered just another addicting fad. Many teenagers have resorted to blogging as an outlet for their emotions, a little online nook where they can blurt out whatever just bugs them or whatever makes them feel elated. Savvy marketers have discovered that blogging is one of the best Internet marketing methods AND it won’t cost you a cent.

What exactly is blogging? Blog is the widely used term that refers to web log. Basically, a blog is an online journal. A blog could be set up to no cost at all, and can be used for the just the fun of it or for business reasons.

Blogging for your Internet business is one surefire way to boost the visibility of your products and services. Here are a few ways to boost your internet advertising with the help of a blog:

1. Update past, current and future clients or customers on your website’s alterations. Your new products and affiliate websites could also be announced through your blog.

2. Keep track of your business objectives and plans through open writing. Your blog content can be easily stored through archives. What could be better than searchable information that could be easily accessed by anyone browsing the web, right?

3. Air your opinions, advice or reviews on specific services or products that are related to your business. Publishing is a very easy process with blogging.

4. Include links that will fetch back links and subsequently improve your ranking on search engines. This could be better executed through putting well-written articles in your website. Affiliate links could also be included in your blog to earn extra income.

5. Collect responses through the ability of blogs to fetch comments from your blog readers. You can learn and improve your products and services through the feedback from your readers.

6. Connect easily with other bloggers. When other bloggers notice that you have something good in your blog, they will put you in their favorite lists that will automatically link you to their blogs.

Your Virtual Assistant Can Handle All Of Your Article Tasks

One of my most enjoyable tasks as a Virtual Assistant is setting up new accounts for submissions sites for article writers.

I do quite a bit of this for a Virtual Assistant whose team I am a member of and also do these assignments on my own. I can take this undertaking on from doing the research to find the sites to post to, to setting up the accounts for the writers and on to posting their writings when they have them ready to be shared.

I would proofread your article before submitting and make any necessary changes, or if you prefer, show you the changes that need made so that you could approve them and then send the edited document back to me. Obviously, just having me make the changes is a timesaver, but it is totally up to the client on how the proofreading and editing phase is handled.

Most article sites have categories for you to choose from in order to have your articles found and read. As your posting Virtual Assistant I would need a few items of information to set up your account and then to be able to log in later and post your articles for you.

If this is something you are interested in considering as a timesaver so that you can concentrate your skills on your writing and other duties, here is a list of the most commonly needed information for posting to article sites.

1. Of course, I would need your name or preferred user name if this is not your actual name.
2. I would need your email address.
3. Most sites want a password from between 7 and 11 characters so I would need your preferred password.

Most, though not all, also require:

4. Physical Address
5. Phone number

Most want a 6. headshot and a 7. bio

The most time consuming task for your Virtual Assistant to do is the first time setting up of your accounts with the article sites.

This takes, on average, an hour to open 5 accounts for you to regularly post on.
Once this is done, I find that with proofing AND posting I average about 5 in 30 minutes or so.

So, if you have 10 sites that you want to post articles to, you would be looking at 2 hours
to set it up originally and then only an hour to post each article to all 10 sites!

This is a great time saver for YOU, and if you rely on article marketing or rely on your articles to help with your traffic, credibility and to get your thoughts out there, this just might be the right time for YOU to try a Virtual Assistant to assist you with this endeavor.

Your Virtual Assistant Can Help With Your eBay Sales or Store!

Monday, April 22nd, 2013

I was an eBay power seller until I moved from my little country town of Steelville, MO to Ellisville in St. Louis County in November of 2011.

I packed my most precious valuables and the things I absolutely had to have and downsized from a big, old 5 bedroom house to a sweet but small 2 bedroom apartment.

The movies and books and memorabilia from my retired store which were the things I was selling so well on eBay got left “for later”. Sadly, in June of 2012, my old house was burned to the ground by arson and I had never gotten around to making the trip to get these items.

For 2 years prior to moving, I had been listing and selling the great content I took home with me from retiring my brick and mortar store. I had an eBay store with over 2,000 items at one time. As I reduced my stock I eventually closed the eBay store to save the fee because you can literally list thousands of items on eBay without having to have “a store”.

It is more work to sell on eBay and get and retain power seller status than you might think. It literally took hours to list each item, find the image or images I wanted and to write descriptions to help them appeal and sell. Yes, there are ready-made templates on eBay IF the item is listed already, but I wanted mine to be more original and stand out from the crowd, and though a rare occurrence, there ARE mistakes in those cookie cutter descriptions and if you are not careful, you will have a misleading listing and this can cost you time, reputation and also money if you have to give a refund because the item was not what you stated it was.

Gotta toot my own horn a bit here, I have 100% positive feedback I have maintained for over 6 years on Jan’s eBay page. This is 1663 perfect transactions – both as a seller and a buyer :-)

Anyway, enough rambling! I can take your list of items along with pictures that you supply or those I can research and find and not only set you up in your own eBay store or listings but can maintain it all for you. If it is something as easy as movies or books, I can even use wikopedia or google and get informative descriptions to add to that area for you and make your offers stand out from the others.

Or I can just simply list your items and use the standard images that are on eBay for that purpose. This is a time consuming task that may be keeping your from selling on eBay yourself and being able to outsource the things you do not want to do or do not have time to do can make all the difference in moving forward to getting rid of things you no longer want or need and getting some income from it.
