Social Media Virtual Assistance

I love to network and use social media but there are some sides of doing so that, for me, are more WORK than they are enjoyment. Most of the avid social networkers I come across agree.

I have a couple of clients that I assist with the “chores” facet of their networking so that they can concentrate on the FUN sides, and I know I would love to someday have a helper to do my “busy work” for me as well.

I love to do my own searches for new people to connect and interact with but a lot of the people I am in contact with do not like this stage of the game. To me, the biggest chore is weeding through new connection requests to make sure the person is someone I would want to be associated with, have something in common with or at least has something interesting to discuss now and then.

I have helped others set up their social media personas, find like-minded people for them to connect and interact with, written or at least edited their profile descriptions and weeded through their new connection requests.

I have both a personal Facebook presence and a professional or business one. Some people tend to “friend” every person that asks so that they have a huge friend list. This is probably fine for personal social gossiping, sharing fun stuff, etc. but for my business, I feel that I need to concentrate on people who are my peers or in an industry compatible with mine or that might someday either need my services or at least know someone some day who does.

I also have an account on Linkedin for the sole purpose of connecting with other business people and getting and sharing tips, advice and resources with my peers.

My most fun, and most USED social media platform is Twitter. I am quite active on twitter and have some really interactive connections there. I have also made some real friendships from being on Twitter AND have gotten the bulk of my clients and referrals from my connections with this great platform.

If you love social networking but want to concentrate on the fun, interactive and connecting side and need someone else to manage and perform your maintenance for you, please keep me in mind.

I can set up your account for you, search for people in YOUR designated criteria, weed through your connection requests for the people you DO want to be involved with, send them a personal hello and welcome so that you do not have to use an autoresponder or even send them NO hello and welcome message and pretty much anything else to make your social networking experience a more fun and/or rewarding one.

Finding The Right Home Business Model

Finding the right home business model may or may not be
a lot of work. There is no surefire way to make money,
but that doesn’t mean people will stop trying.

People are finding ways to experiment with new
strategies and are trying to find home business models that
actually work for what they need.

The answer is really a no-brainer : If it doesn’t work, fix it.
If your business model is not working for you, change it.
If you are not seeing the profits you should from your current model,
it is time to change things.

Many businesses have gone through this sort of change.
With more and more people conducting business online,
and more people using mainstream media,
it is only smart to change what no longer works.

If the tires on your car won’t get you to where you
need to go, then it is obvious that they should
be changed.

Slow sales and slower uptake of online offerings have
forced many companies to focus on their core
competencies.

Companies are now aggressively marketing their services
to companies who need streaming media. Now many businesses
have taken their focus off of hard advertising and are
focusing on media advertising.

They were forced to change their business models or
could have suffered greatly, some even risking
going out of business.

It is very important to have a good business model set
up when going into business for yourself. Learn from
the biggest and most profitable companies.

I have been doing business for now 12 years online and have had
both great successes AND yes, I admit, horrendous failures. Some
ideas had to be scrapped to allow my time and efforts to be
concentrated on what was working. It can take a lot of trial
and error but is worth it in the long run.

What Is Business Outsourcing?

Sunday, April 4th, 2010

Companies might consider business outsourcing for many
different reasons.

Business outsourcing is when a company hires an outside source to complete work or a project which would normally be done by the staff.

A company might consider outsourcing to save money by cutting down on costs or when they might not have the employee resources to complete a particular project.

Outsourcing gives a company the opportunity to complete a needed project that might not be a specialty of their employees.

When you outsource, you don’t have to pay a salary or provide benefits to the workers.

When business outsourcing occurs, the company will usually enter into an agreement with the outsourcing company. This is usually done with a contract.

The contract will usually include the terms of the agreement = like steps throughout the project, time the project will take, people involved, cost, and required resources from the client.

There are many different types of outsourcing.

The most common segments of a business that hire outsourcing companies for assistance include accounting services to help with payroll, inventory, and financial issues.

The biggest field of outsourcing today for companies is in the Information Technology field. This is because companies will upgrade their phones, computers, need cabling installed, troubleshooting performed and many other services.

Companies also outsource people for customer service positions, call centers, and telemarketing.

Outsourcing is a solution for a business to save money and complete projects and tasks in the workforce without having full time employees do the work.

Outsourcing is becoming more and more popular across the world every day.
